COURSE DESCRIPTION: CS Principles will introduce students to computational thinking and problem solving. Students in this course will address computer science concepts including problem solving skills, data abstraction, data communication and the Internet, algorithms, and global perspectives of computing. The intent of this course is to both introduce computer science to students as well as help students in teacher programs prepare topics with regards to the advanced placement Computer Science exams.
